Whether because there’s not enough time or for other reasons, most people don’t understand politics. They don’t know about the current candidates, we don’t necessarily know all of the facts about the popular issues, and we somehow end up dissatisfied with virtually every politician and both of the two major parties. There are actually several different political parties, and Conservative is not the same thing as Republican just as Democrat is not the same as Liberal. This is just a sampling of what you can find out by reading this blog.
My main aim is to give you a basic idea of how politics work. I post basic concepts, facts, and overviews of some of the political parties you may not know about, the major issues facing our society, and the candidates and what they actually stand for.
